My name is(your name). There are no any special New Year dishes in Russia. Families just cook their own favorites. However, a salad "Olivje" has become almost a symbol of New Year. It is kind of potato salad. "Seledka pod shuboj" is associated with a New Year. Everything else depends on a family's taste!
