Uzbekistan is a really pretty country in Central Asia with around 34 million people living there. Most of them are Uzbeks, but there are other people there too. The weather is usually hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Sometimes it can get up to 40°C or down to -20°C!

The biggest city in Uzbekistan is Tashkent, which is also the capital. There are other cool cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva that have old buildings and lots of history.

akuworth: Uzbekistan has a lot of different businesses like farming, mining, and making clothes. One of the things they're really good at is growing cotton, which they sell to other countries. They also get a lot of gold, copper, and uranium from mining.

akuworth: The people in Uzbekistan are really nice and like to share their culture and history with visitors. The food is super yummy and includes things like plov, shashlik, and lagman. There are also a bunch of festivals and celebrations like Navruz, which is when they celebrate the Persian New Year.
