Hundertwasser "Waldspirale" house (" the Forest Spiral") was built in Darmstadt between 1998 and 2000. Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the known Austrian architect and the painter, is widely known for his revolutionary, colourful architectural designs which include irregular, organic forms, for example, domes of an onions form.The building consisting of 105 apartments, is bent round a well-planned internal court yard.
