Green roofs! What a great idea, and so simple. Why didn't anybody think of this before?
Well, actually they did. Green roofs, in the form of natural sod* roofs, have been around for ages.
Nowadays, these living roofs, also called eco-roofs, are a bit more complex than those from the
past, but they are still ‘sprouting up' in cities all over the world.
