- Mary's voice sounds strange. Has she been crying? Oh, no. She has been laughing. (Present Perfect Continuous)
- Kathy can't go on holiday, she has broken her leg. (Present Perfect)
- What have you been cooking all morning, dear? (Present Perfect Continuous)
- I can't listen to him any more. He has been talking to us for an hour and a half. (Present Perfect Continuous)
- How long have you been living here? (Present Perfect Continuous)
- We have been phoning Mrs Smith for half an hour but can't get through. (Present Perfect Continuous)
