Guess what! I went to
a play last weekend
and it was amazing!
B It was at the Globe Theatre in London in the UK. I
went with my parents. We all think Shakespeare wrote very
interesting plays, so we were excited to see one of his
plays. We watched Romeo and Juliet. I've read the play,
but seeing it live at the theatre was so much better. The
actors were very talented and the stage was very well-lit.
The audience was fascinated. After the play, we went to
the gift shop and bought some Shakespeare souvenirs to
remember our trip.
It was a wonderful evening - the play was very
entertaining and the actors were great. We were tired
afterwards, but we had a great time. Don't miss the chance
to watch one of Shakespeare's plays at the theatre.
